Free, interactive, web-based learning modules that complement clinical experiences in medical student psychiatry education, keyed to ADMSEP Key Diagnoses for Medical Students.
The ADMSEP Clinical Simulation Initiative (CSI) Committee was founded in 2010 by academic psychiatry faculty from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the University of Central Florida, the University of Chicago, the University of California Davis, Johns Hopkins University, Loyola University Chicago, and Michigan State University.
The mission of CSI is to develop free, high-quality, interactive, web-based learning modules that complement clinical experiences in medical student psychiatry education, specifically of ADMSEP Key Diagnoses for Medical Students.
The CSI Committee also awards annual grants, coordinates peer review, and offers mentorship for educators producing eModules. Since its inception as an ADMSEP task force, CSI has grown to more than sixty active members from medical schools across the United States. We welcome more comprehensive and international collaboration.
Additional modules are being republished as WCAG-conformant versions are ready. Watch the ADMSEP news page for announcements.
If you would like to join the CSI Committee's conference calls or propose a new module, contact one of the co-chairs directly. Both co-chairs welcome new educators.

CSI eModules are built with Articulate Rise 360, which provides responsive design, keyboard navigation support, and screen-reader compatibility aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA. Some complex medical diagrams and interactive labelled-graphic or drag-and-drop activities have known limitations; text descriptions and alternatives are provided.
