ADMSEP is a national community of psychiatric educators dedicated to excellence in medical student education in psychiatry and the behavioral sciences. Members share curricula, scholarship, mentorship, and practical guidance for the next generation of physicians.

Five commitments guide ADMSEP’s work with educators, learners, and peer organizations.

  1. Champion excellence in medical student behavioral sciences and psychiatric education.
  2. Support, develop, and disseminate research and innovation in teaching methods, content, and evaluation.
  3. Foster the professional development and career satisfaction of medical student psychiatric educators.
  4. Provide support, guidance, and resources to medical students considering a career in psychiatry.

The 2026 Annual Meeting runs June 18–20 in Louisville, Kentucky. ADMSEP also hosts shorter virtual meetings in fall and spring.

    "What does WCAG mean?", you may ask. WCAG standards are the internationally recognized technical standards for digital accessibility. Developed by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative, they ensure web content and mobile apps are accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive limitations.
