Awards Committee:
Chaired by Dr. Brenda Talley (with Dr. Ruth Levine as the
council liaison), tasked with developing awards and processes
for recognizing accomplishments of ADMSEP members, including
awarding on an annual basis the (already developed) early
educator, innovations in teaching, and MedEd Portal awards.
Current members on the awards committee are: Drs. Jonathan
Alpert, Tamara Gay, Brenda Roman, Anjan Bhattacharyya.

Membership Committee:
Chaired by Dr. Susan Lehman (with Dr. Brenda Roman, as the
council liaison) tasked with developing and implementing
strategies to increase individual and school membership
representation in ADMSEP. The current members are:
Drs. Adam Brenner,
Thomas Brouette, Ray Kotwicki, Ruth Levine, Cathy Lewis, Brenda
Roman, Sergio Hernandez, Jerry Osborn, and Lloyda Williamson.
3) Alternative
Clinical Experience Committee: Chaired by Drs. Howard Liu
and Martin Klapheke (with Dr. Martin Leamon, as the council
liaison) tasked with exploring the feasibility of developing
high quality electronic/media-based patient cases (similar to
CLIPP cases) and identifying platforms for making them
accessible to the membership. This committee will be limited to
10 members for the working group. The committee will need
ADMSEP members to volunteer to be content experts to review
cases as they are completed. Members who have been working on
this include: Drs. Paul Kim, Michael Marcangelo, Dennis
McNeilly, Hendry Ton, and Glen Xiong.

Scientific Poster
Subcommittee: Chaired by Drs. Dave Carlson and Lisa
Fore-Arcand charged with soliciting and reviewing poster
submissions for the annual meeting, mentoring submissions as
needed, and awarding the Research and Innovations Poster Awards
at the annual meeting.

Annual Newsletter
Committee: Chaired by the ADMSEP secretary, Dr.
Nutan Vaidya, charged with soliciting, reviewing and editing
content for the annual newsletter.
6)
Child and Adolescent
PsychiatryTask
Force: Dr. Geri Fox is chairing the Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry Task Force(Dr. Greg Briscoe as council liaison). This task force
is developing and implementing strategies for individual members
to include topics of child and adolescent psychiatry in
undergraduate medical education.
We hope
ADMSEP members will be interested in serving on one or more of
the task forces. Through your involvement you would be adding
important guidance for ADMSEP's initiatives while establishing a
national leadership role. If you are interested in joining one
or more of the task forces, please contact the respective chair
