Dear ADMSEP Members and Friends,

Please join us for the 33rd ADMSEP Annual Meeting at the The Canyons Resort, in Park City, Utah, beginning Thursday, June 21, 2007 and concluding Saturday, June 23, 2007.

Park City is one of the Rockies’ last and best kept summertime secrets. Whether you are yearning for an action-packed recreational paradise or quiet, relaxing days soaking up the mountain scenery and contemplating the implementation of competencies in your clerkship, you can do it there. Between the historic downtown area, golf courses and hiking trails, you will surely enjoy this location for the annual meeting.

The program will be educational, stimulating, and fun – plenary sessions, workshops, poster sessions and plenty of time for networking and talking with colleagues. Topics include results from LCME ED-2, innovative media in psychiatry education, and creating a psychiatry OSCE. A brief program is enclosed but go to our website (www.admsep.org/meetings.html) for more detailed information about the program and the meeting in general.

The Canyons Resort (www.thecanyons.com) is holding a block of rooms for Thursday, June 21st, until Sunday, June 24th at $160 per night for a single/double. This rate also applies for reservations three days before and after the meeting. Make your reservations directly with the hotel at (888) 226-9667, referencing the ADMSEP meeting. The block of rooms will be held only until May 6th, so make your reservations early! To reserve transportation to the resort, call All Resort Express at 800-457-9457.

Please print the meeting registration form and mail with a check payable to ADMSEP for the registration fee to Gary Beck by May 15th.

A pre-meeting workshop for faculty development will be held on Thursday, June 21st. This work shop is a toolbox for new clerkship directors over issues such as interacting with faculty, department chairs and deans. This workshop will describe number of difficult situations and help participate navigate through them.

Enjoy your spring and we look forward to seeing you in Park City.

Sincerely,
Ruth Levine, MD Nutan Vaidya, M.D.
