Dear ADMSEP Members and Friends,
Please join us for the 31st
ADMSEP Annual Meeting at the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa, Monterey,
California, which will begin on Thursday, June 23, 2004 and conclude on
Saturday, June 25, 2005. Monterey is an
historic town on the central California coast with sandy beaches and scenic
venues. The Hotel is located on Cannery
Row, overlooking the Monterey Bay, just up the street from the world-renowned
Monterey Bay Aquarium. Sailing, ocean
kayaking, fishing, whale watching are close by, as are golf, shopping and Old
Town Monterey. The hotel offers many
amenities, including the full-service spa and three separate wine-tasting rooms
with award-winning wine lists.
The program will be educational,
stimulating, and fun. Plenary
presentation topics include the OSCE, new LCME accreditation standards,
clerkship resources and others.
Hands-on workshops include Team Learning, cultural competency,
professionalism, new technologies, and teacher development. CME credit will be available. A condensed program is on the back of this

The Monterey Plaza is holding a
block of rooms for ADMSEP that will be available from Wednesday, June 23, until
Sunday, June 27. The rate for a
single/double room is $199 per night.
Rooms with ocean balconies, etc. are more. The hotel will also apply the group rate for reservations for
June 21, 22 and 27, 28 & 29. Make your reservations directly with the Monterey

Jose International (SJC), about 90 min. away.
