Dear ADMSEP Member:
I am writing to invite
you to submit abstracts for presentations, workshops, poster sessions, debates,
panels, or other activities for the 2002 ADMSEP meeting, which will be held in
beautiful Key Biscayne, FL at the Sonesta Beach Resort on June 13-15, 2002. The
resort is located close to Miami Airport and offers luxurious accommodations
and a variety of recreational opportunities including golf, tennis and seaside

ADMSEP meetings are
not only hosted in great locations, their success rests on the high quality of
presentations made by our members.
Please consider making a presentation.
Submissions are encouraged on any general area relating to medical
student education in psychiatry. Topics
covered in recent years have included: designing and carrying out educational
research, interdisciplinary teaching programs, the use of new technologies to
enhance teaching, psychiatry in movies and popular culture, the impact of
managed care on education, teaching psychiatry in ambulatory and primary care
settings, curriculum reform issues, faculty development, career advancement for
educators, and the multiple roles and dilemmas of psychiatric medical student
educators.
Abstracts should be no
longer than one page in length and should include a statement of the educational goals and objectives of the
presentation as well as a narrative
description of the content.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is November 7, 2002. Please send them via snail mail, email or
